The Digital Clock synchronise's time from a intranet or Internet based Network Time Protocol NTP time server to display a highly accurate time.
The Digital Wall Clock units are configured via a password protected telnet session. All the installed digital clock units can therefore be configured from a single PC. To configure the devices, only the IP address or DNS name of a NTP time server is required. Additional configuration parameters can be set to select 12 or 24 hour clock display, time zone and daylight saving requirements and many other features.
The Digital Clock units are ideal for customers that require a synchronized, highly accurate, LED clock time display locked on to a traceable source of time.
To reduce installation costs, the digital clock units utilise Power-over-Ethernet, PoE. This means that no mains outlet is required at the location where the clock is to be sited.
